Our Story

In 2017 my wife and I had renovated a home that I had rented out for years. We had just finished installing new carpet in the basement and hours later there was a heavy rain storm. We returned home we discovered our basement had completely flooded.

At the time I’ve never dealt with this type of devastation, let alone had to deal with an insurance claim. After speaking with many different companies, we were turned down due to the amount of rain that had hit Maryland that day.

After that, I wanted to learn the in’s and out’s of restoration and make a change to help people that may be stuck in the same situation. When starting SBK restorations I wanted to make sure that people could have a company they could rely on and would not be turned down.
